BALAX has participated in this TRUE Fall Ball program for years.  It's a great way to stay active with lacrosse during the fall off-season.  This year there are 4 Sunday dates with 2 games for the BALAX Varsity and 2 games per day for the BALAX Junior Varsity.

Teams:  Benet has entered 2 teams into this fall ball league play:

  1. Benet Varsity (Gold)
  2. Benet Junior Varsity (Silver)

Dates: (Sundays) September 8th, 15th and 29th, October 6th

Location: Benedictine University - 5700 College Rd. Lisle, IL 60532

2 games per day per team

Game Times:  ARRIVE 30 Minutes before game time

The coaches and I are implementing a NEW OFF SEASON strength and conditioning program for ALL players at every level. If you are not in a fall sport, WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to sign up and join. It is imperative that as a club, we develop all the players at all levels, and work on their strength and conditioning training. We want to be as strong and as competitive as possible for the Spring 2020 season. Some of the games we will playing will be extremely physical, therefore we would like to get the boys in the Benet gym as soon as they are available. This is an area we need to improve in, and I strongly believe we can do that with this new weight training program.  All of the coaching staff would like your participation. 

We have brought in a new trainer, Michael Settle (see BIO attachment), who will be meeting with the boys starting Sept. 10th. We will have 3 sessions, bringing us to February before tryouts. The first session will run for 8 weeks, meeting 3x a week. Tues, Thurs, and Saturdays. See specific dates and times below. Mike has an impressive resume, and is really excited to get in the gym and get these boys stronger and faster. PLEASE READ BIO ATTACHED. 

The first session will be 250$ for a total of about 24 sessions. There will be a second and third session following, more specifics on that at a later date. TIMES AND DAYS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY OF THE WEIGHT ROOM.
