BENET 2019 LACROSSE SCHEDULE IS POSTED

 The BALAX Board provides off-season support for Benet Academy Lacrosse Activities.  This includes the following activities and training every year:

  • Fall Lacrosse Ball at Benedictine University through the TRUE Fall Ball program: September to October
  • TryLax - a great get together at Benet for new players
  • Winter Strength & Conditioning Session 1 :  November to December
  • Winter Strength & Conditioning Session 2:  January to February
  • Winter Captain's Practices:  January to February
  • Winter President's Day Tournament: 2/17/2020
  • Welcome to Benet Lacrosse Table

BENET VARSITY LACROSSE NOTRE DAME TRIP

In 2019, the Benet Varsity Lacrosse Team played a full game at Notre Dame on the outdoor Arlotta Stadium ND Lacrosse field.  Benet Varsity Lacrosse Players arrived at Benet at 8:30am on Saturday morning and departed immediately after on 2 large vans to South Bend, had lunch on campus, played St Rita ant then spent the night in a Mishawaka hotel with coaches and adult supervision.   The players and coaches attended mass Sunday morning then watched Notre Dame Lacrosse play Cornell at 12 noon ET on Sunday, April 14th, 2019

Benet has joined the IHSA Lacrosse program as of 2017.  

 

Benet Lacrosse Parent Board 

The BALAX Lacrosse Club is operated by the Parent Board, a voluntary group of parents who support the offseason lacrosse program through their efforts. The Parent Board is responsible for nurturing  a competitive high school lacrosse program.  The coaches are responsible for running a competitive high school lacrosse program.


How do I volunteer to help a team or to join the Parent Board?


Game Volunteers:

We need volunteers for our home games for all of our teams. See the VOLUNTEERS section on our website for more info about our needs for home games  and volunteer!


Parent Board:

If you are interested in joining the Parent Board, contact our President at teampresident@balax.org


Coaches:

The coaches' mission is to develop our players into a team capable of winning conference and state championships. Moreover, the coaches want to use the sport of lacrosse to help our players learn to understand and to adopt the values of preparation, planning ahead, hard work, discipline, team work and a great attitude as the core values to having a successful lacrosse career and a successful adult life after lacrosse.
